Join the GitHub hands-on workshop to learn how to build GitHub Apps — tools that can help make teams more productive with GitHub. This workshop is open to developers of any skill level who want to learn how to use the GitHub API to build better developer workflows. We’ll have stickers for everyone, too!
GitHubbers will walk attendees through the process of creating their first GitHub App. This workshop will cover:
- Introduction to GitHub Apps basics
- Probot, a great NodeJS library for getting started building GitHub Apps
- Automatic issues moderation via AI using Recast.ai
- Deploying code on Glitch.com
GitHub Apps are a great way to extend GItHub development workflows with automation.
